Teapot Mountain
Map
Teapot Mountain is located near Jinguashi Station. The mountain looks like a teapot without a handle, hence the name. However, when you look at the mountain from Jinguashi, it looks like a lion, so it is also named “Lion Mountain”. The mountain is an important landmark for Jinguashi. If you are interested to climb to the top of the mountain, you can enter from Cyuanji Hall. The footpath will lead you to the top in about one hour. Or, you can walk up the mountain with the steps across the Museum of Mining Industry and the trip will take about 30 minutes. Standing on the top of the mountain, one can enjoy the great view over Pacific Ocean, the surrounding mountains as well as the Keelung Mountain and Jinguashi village opposite you.
