The upcoming 3rd International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO 2009) will be held during September 14-22, 2009 in Taiwan.  On behalf of the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), I would like to invite your country’s participation to this significant educational event.

NTNU, having a long history of being the premier training base of secondary education teachers in the country, is an institution committed to provide quality education and teacher training.  To cultivate our students with broad views of life and of the world, we strive for active cooperation with academic ins titutions from all over the world.

To establish international cooperation, we have in the past hosted international Olympiads in the disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, senior high school Chemistry, junior high school Science and the like.  With great honor and privilege, we have the opportunity to host the upcoming IESO 2009.  I would truly like to invite your country to take part in this commendable event while at the same time to explore the unique beauty and culture of Taiwan.
